Trivia
  • A 4th playable Faction was planned to be included in version 1.3 but was scrapped. It was supposed to be based on OIC (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation) where the support from the real-life OIC member states are given to the Malaysian Leader. It was removed in the end due to time constraint. Some of their planned units and abilities were:
    • Mujahideen - A stealthy infantry who volunteered to travel all the way to Malaysia to assist their fellow brothers' liberation from foreign oppression. They will spawn passively, giving the players a steady supply of freedom fighters.
    • Iranian Support - A branch which unlocks access to units such as Iranian Revolutionary Guards and Azarakhsh jet fighters.
    • Saudi Support - A branch which significantly boosts resource income and unlocks the Armoured Division which featured tanks such as M60 Patton and AMX-30.
    • Combined Resources - A passive ability which boosts gold and resource income while giving discounts on all units through the combined economy of the OIC.
    • Council Meeting - An in-game feature which activates a meeting to decide several aspects of the game (e.g. Raising oil prices to give high cost penalty to non-OIC players, reducing oil prices to reduce the amount of resources non-OIC players generate, excommunicate an OIC player to temporarily deny him/her from OIC Support features as punishment etc.) and as you can see, this feature alone is limited by the Warcraft III capabilities. Perhaps we will implement these features in RM2.
  • The Brotherhood was originally designed to be a branch of the planned OIC Faction above where Mujahideens passively spawn to assist the players. However, they took a dark turn somewhere in 2014 after the OIC Faction was scrapped and the appearance of real-life terror organisation wreaked havoc worldwide. The Brotherhood eventually became an antagonist in the WWIII events. No, they are not related to any real life terror-inducing organisation.
  • There was supposed to be custom selection music when a player chooses their faction, but this feature was scrapped due to bugs and game engine and space limitations.
